Yehhhh. i used my mom's anti wrinkle cream for my under eye line , LOL, just curious does it work?

You should be careful with the type of cream you put under your eyes...heavy cream can cause white heads under the eyes. Generally skin care products can not get rid of wrinkles completely...maybe just fine lines when used over time. I think just about any moisturizers you put on your skin can make fine lines appear less visible....just because lines are more obvious on dry skin. Make sure to get enough sleep and eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Maybe you can see a dermatologist?

I'm in my 20s, and don't have to worry about wrinkles on my face just yet. But I was wondering, will using an *anti*-wrinkle cream now help me avoid wrinkles later, or do I have to specifically use a wrinkle-*preventing* cream? And if so, what should I look for? Thanks.

Yes...definitely start using it now. I wish I would have thought of that when I was in my 20's. It will help prevent you from getting wrinkles so soon. Even a moisterizer will help prevent wrinkles.

i really want to try out "hope in a jar" by philosphy but many women, who are older than me (20-60) say that this cream helps them with their wrinkles and this scares me. if i use cream like this will i not have protection on my face anymore?? i mean will i grow dependant on anti wrinkle creams, therefore they wont even be effective when i age and actually have wrinkles on my face?

For my mom's 50th I'd like to get her some anti-wrinkle cream or lotion or whatever helps wrinkles. She doesn't have many cause she said she's used Oil of Olay since she was 18, but does anyone have any suggestions that actually work for fine lines or whateveR? I've heard that wrinkle creams don't actually work, how depressing! Thanks for advice

If you are looking for home remedy to reduce wrinkles, try this.
Smear honey on your face and leave it for as long as possible (but 5-10mins a day will do). then rinse off with tepid water mixed with a teaspoon of cider vinegar - this has a neutral pH and will act as a toner.

And if you have some bucks, Lifecell anti wrinkle cream would be a good choice. You can have more information here.

Does anti wrinkle cream really work?

I heard somewhere that you should start using anti wrinkle cream in your mid 20's. I have started using an anti wrinkle moisturizer daily, one for the day and one for night. I'm 25. I have always looked pretty young for my age but I've started to notice "laugh lines" on the sides of my eyes and around my mouth when I smile.
Does it really work?
What is it that makes it work?
Does it matter what kind I use?

Some vitamins in the cream make any kind of imperfections blend in and match the face. be patient and over time, it will work.

hope i helped (:

anti-wrinkle under eye & face creams? I'm 30 yrs old, but I have always looked older than my age. I'm looking for the best anti-wrinkle cream and the best price for a great product. I'm also looking for a great face firming cream.

gah, I am 32 and dangit if the wrinkles aren't starting to rear their ugly head. I feel ya.

You know I use this product I got on ebay, it is basically this Vitamin C eye cream and I like it fine--also, walgreen sells a vitamin E eye cream I use.

I really am not sure if any of those wrinkles creams work better than the others. I think just keeping your wrinkled area well hydrated is the key.

I have spent a lot of money on face creams. I bought that Strivectin for $135 and it didn't work for me @ all.. I also bought Dr. Perricones stuff (sold at sephora and VERY expensive)..I liked his stuff because of the feel and stuff, but I didn't see my wrinkles lessen--so it wasn't worth the $.

I have heard great things about Retin-a...which you get in a prescription-I am sure you know what that is. Besides something like that OR plastic surgery (including botox, chemical peels, etc) --I don't think they make much difference, so why pay $100+ for a cream when you can get one for $4 that works the same.

Also, there is a lady who tests out all the skin creams, makeups, etc. her name is Paula (forgot her last name).. She has a book called "Don't go to the Cosmetic counter without me" ---- she looks at the ingredients, etc and has determined that a lot of the generics are superb, while the high priced ones are packaged crap. There are some high end ones that she says are good products (which she admits are WAY overpriced) but there are a lot of low-cost ones that do the same thing.

She has a website and she rates a few things on it-- she, also, sells her own stuff. i have never tried it though.

www.paulaschoice.com

(this is SO long, I apologize..just wanted to answer as good as I could--since I have been on th e same plight)

PS- I went to the bookstore one day, and looked at her book- I didn't buy it, but I wrote down a few creams, but I forgot what they are now---I need to do that again. You can find her book in the beauty section of Barnes and Noble. ---or the library (although theirs might not be as current).

Goooooooood luck!

Anti-wrinkle cream that is good for sensive skin?

Everytime I buy a certain type of anti-wrinkle cream it leaves a rash the following day that looks like a sun burn. I need to find a good one for sensitive skin, preferibly a good brand like Dior or something. Any suggestions?
